Meet Elder Landzaat L. Wright, born and raised in Norfolk, VA. He is the second oldest of three siblings and graduated from Booker T. Washington HS in Norfolk in 2000.

Elder Wright has a passion for music, especially playing the Hammond Organ, and enjoys fixing things, a skill he has honed since he was two years old. He is known for his infectious sense of humor and always has a smile on his face.

Elder Wright was a member of New St. Mark Apostolic Faith Churches of God, Inc. (AFCOG) in Norfolk since his youth. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord during National Youth Fellowship Convention on June 25, 1998, two weeks before his 17th birthday.

He served in various ministries, including choir, youth usher, and church musician until the Holy Spirit released him On Sunday, December 29, 2013.

In 2014, Without knowing what was in store for him, he began traveling every weekend to Warsaw, VA, a two-hour drive there and back while still living and working in Norfolk for 2 years.

In 2015, Elder Wright received a message from the Holy Spirit while praying that said “What I Have for you is in Warsaw”.

Elder Wright’s actions were deemed as part of God’s plan by the Nation of NFCOG, leading to his appointment as a Minister. He received his ordination at Faith Temple’s Worship Service on March 22, 2015, where he underwent the traditional “laying on of hands” by Apostle Ivan Grant Sr., Bishop Forrest R. Nance, Jr., and the Late Emeritus Pastor Paul Smith.

In June 2016, Elder Wright relocated to Warsaw, VA, and has been a faithful adjutant to the Bishop, earning him the nickname “Mr. NFCOG.” He serves as Sunday School Teacher for the Teen and Young Adult Class, Faith Temple Youth Director, on the NFCOG Board of Christian Education Media-Library Resources Department, and Uth4Christ Creative Arts Assistant Director Official Youth Group of NFCOG, Inc.

On July 14, 2017, he was ordained an Elder of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during NFCOG’s 21st Holy Convocation. Elder Wright is a cleric member of Faith Temple NFCOG, Inc., and serves on a national level to its parent body, The National Fellowship Churches of God, Inc.

He is an alumnus of NFCOG Bible Institute in Jacksonville, FL, with a Baccalaureate degree in Bible & Theology 2012, Outreach Skills Curricula 2013, and Ministry Skills 2015. Elder Wright received his Associate degree in Biblical Studies(A.A.) from Pentecostal Faith Bible College on July 16, 2022, and on July 15, 2023, he received his Bachelor of Biblical Studies (B.A.)

Elder Wright continues to push the vision that God has for Faith Temple and The Nation of NFCOG. On November 2nd, 2023, he became Faith Temple NFCOG Assistant Pastor
